Aybel Fiske is a professional fixative for your freshly dyed fabrics.

Aybel Fiske can be used in the washing machine or by hand for greater adhesion.
Developed for textiles frequently washed or exposed to direct sunlight.
Add it to the water in the last rinse or, if you use it in the washing machine, in the softener compartment.
Use 100 ml of fixing liquid per 1-1.5 kg of dry matter. A 30 ml bag is sufficient for use with 1 bag of fabric paint.

Is it better to dye by hand or in the washing machine?

Our dyes are formulated for both uses, however, if possible, it is always preferable to dye by hand for a greater guarantee of success. Especially in the case of delicate, expensive garments, or those that you particularly care about, hand-dyeing is strongly recommended to have more control over the whole process and to lengthen the soaking time for a full, stain-free colour.

Can I cover bleach stains?

To try to correct this type of stain, the first step is to dissolve a pinch of dye in 100ml of water and add a little salt and vinegar if necessary. You can then try to dye the stain with the help of a cotton bud.

It is difficult to find the perfect colour among so many options, but you can start with a light shade and then if necessary darken it, warm it up or cool it down.

Ik vind de kleuren van Aybel trouwens ook heel erg goed. Mis alleen de kleur terracotta, een tikje oranje achtig bruin. Durf het niet zelf te mengen.

Nit so easy

Preparing the paint for painting in the machine is rather messy. The paint gets stuck in the little bags. The colour brown was not as dark as I hoped. I took the darkest brown, but is was medium brown on what were already brown jeans.
